Benton County Roller Derby was founded in 2010 under the WFTDA (Women’s Flat Track Derby Association) rule set. The team was a women’s only team called the Benton County Derby Dames.  In 2013 we switched to the MADE (Modern Athletic Derby Endeavors) rule set and in 2014 we added our co-ed team to our roster, the Benton County Bombers.  We have been lucky enough to compete in the M.A.D.E  Nationals in 2014 and 2016. We are now excited to announce that we are going back to our roots and playing under the WFTDA rule set for 2019.

We are an amateur skating league that encourages women’s empowerment. We also take every chance we get to give back to our community, from giving a portion of our proceeds to organizations like AIM (Autism Involves Me), doing fundraisers for Champions for Kids, or even taking the polar plunge for the Special Olympics, there is no challenge we won’t take on to help such amazing groups reach their goals.

We are currently recruiting and trying to grow as a team. In the future, we would love to have enough players to have a women’s, men’s and co-ed team.

Have you ever thought about playing roller derby? Worried you can't be on the team because you can't skate, or you don't have gear, or you don't know the rules? Well, none of that is a problem. We have an 8 week, new skater training class that will teach you everything you need to know to get started. The best part is we have loaner gear and skates for you to use, all you need to get started is a mouth guard and the desire to learn.
